This year, it has issued documents such as the "Action Plan for the Coordinated Development of Double Gigabit Networks (2021-2023)" and the "Sailing Action Plan for 5G Applications (2021-2023)" to promote the high-quality development of 5G network construction and applications. Local governments have provided strong support to 5G in terms of site planning, resource openness, and electricity discounts. The development environment has been continuously optimized, and 5G has achieved significant achievements in leading the world in development.
At present, China has built more than 1.15 million 5G base stations, accounting for more than 70% of the world's total. It is an advanced 5G independent networking network in the world. All Prefecture-level city and cities, more than 97% of counties and cities, and 40% of towns and townships across the country have achieved 5G network coverage; The number of 5G end users has reached 450 million, accounting for over 80% of the world. The industry application has rapidly expanded, and the fourth "Blooming Cup" 5G application solicitation competition and the national 5G industry application scale development on-site meeting have been organized. There are over 10000 innovative cases of 5G applications nationwide, covering multiple industries such as industry, healthcare, education, and transportation.
