At present, the widespread applications of pressure sensors include assisting GPS, indoor positioning, and measuring altitude. To take a familiar example, many drivers now use mobile phones for navigation. However, some people often complain about frequent navigation errors on the Viaduct. For example, when you are on a Viaduct, GPS says to turn right, but in fact there is no right turn exit. This is mainly because GPS cannot determine whether you are on the bridge or under the bridge, which results in incorrect navigation. Generally, the height of the upper and lower floors of the Viaduct will be several meters to more than ten meters, and the GPS error may be tens of meters, so it is understandable that the above things happened.
But adding a pressure sensor to the phone is different. Its accuracy can be within 1 meter, which can effectively assist GPS in measuring the height, and the problem of incorrect navigation can be easily solved.
